BIO

Ed Hotchkiss has explored much of the Silk Road and beyond, including the Stans, Vietnam’s coast when few Americans could enter, and northern Nigeria under Boko Haram’s threat. My journeys have taken me to sites like the Giza pyramids, Taj Mahal, and Iceland’s waterfalls, traveling by foot, camel, ferry, and planes of all sizes. I’ve braved plane crashes, spear-wielding locals in Ethiopia, and Syria before civil unrest. I travel for adventure, excitement, and knowledge, not work or relationship reasons. My goal: to visit all 193 UN countries.
